University of Findlay Welcomes Saitama Prefectural Government Delegation for Celebratory Event
FINDLAY, Ohio — University of Findlay is honored to host a distinguished delegation from the Saitama Prefectural Government on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. The event, taking place at the Winebrenner Auditorium, will commence with a warm welcome at 11:30 a.m., followed by a luncheon and a series of special activities designed to celebrate the strong ties between Findlay and Saitama.
The delegation, arriving from Honda's East Liberty facility, will be greeted by University of Findlay representatives, including students who will guide them to their designated seats. The schedule for the event is as follows:
11:30 a.m.: Guests and delegation members arrive. UF students will assist in seating.
11:45 a.m.: Delegation members will have a brief break and finalize seating arrangements.
12:00 p.m.: Luncheon and blessings commence.
12:20 p.m. - 12:25 p.m.: Program begins.
12:50 p.m.: Group photo session.
1:00 p.m.: Photo opportunities at the Arch with selected groups.
1:20 p.m.: Cherry tree planting ceremony near the Mazza Museum.
1:45 p.m. - 1:50 p.m.: Delegation departure, with a farewell at the Cul-de-sac adjacent to the Mazza Museum.
The esteemed delegation includes Saitama Governor Motohiro Ono, Mrs. Shinobu Ono, and Mrs. Seiko Shindo, spouse of Consul General Yusuke Shindo. Members of the delegation are expected to be in formal attire.
